I've also had a meeting with Diego Milito who's explained me how important Inter is and I'm proud of that interest. There are a lot of interested clubs but Inter have been one of the last teams to ask for a meeting. If it would only depend on me I would stay all my life at Racing, but..."
The details are the following: 20 million euros (16 million euros plus tax) plus 2 million euros in bonus and a 10 percentage sell-on fee for Racing Santander. The player strongly wanted to go to Inter and this made a difference especially with Real Madrid and Manchester United showing interest (with Jorge Mendes as intermediary) and Valencia was another option. In the end, the player wanted Inter after Diego Milito intervened, who is now the sporting director for the Argentinean club. The player may soon arrive in Italy for his medicals and he could also be called up for Argentina's friendly against Italy. The buyout clause will be similar to Icardi's: valued at 110 million euros. It could be higher: 115 million or 120 million euros.
