Inter have moved a step closer to securing the arrival of Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella after their former striker Eder agreed to be included in the deal. Inter are also in talks to include Bastoni (on loan) and Dimarco (permanently) in the agreement.
He was in Milan yesterday to negotiate the sale of Nicolo Barella with Inter. Speaking to Sport Italia today, Cagliari sporting director Marcello Carli is optimistic that negotiation will see the finish line.
“Negotiations with Inter for Nicolo are moving forward, there is real interest, no need to deny it. It is neither close or still far, it is a sincere interest. For our part we will verity situations, I am positive because I understand that this is serious and important.
“Barella did not pressure on us, did not ask for anything at all. He is attached to this shirt and is very intelligent. Now he is thinking about the national team and we are not happy to sell him, we are trying to understand if the conditions for this sale are there. Inter are not the only one. The player is flattered by interest of big team and he does deserve to play for a big club.”
