Some of those moves did indeed go through eventually, albeit in a different way to what was expected in 2019.

Dejan Kulusevski was purchased from Atalanta in January 2020 for €35m and left on loan at Parma for another six months, before his sale to Tottenham Hotspur.

Arkadiusz Milik did move to Juve eventually on loan from Olympique Marseille, but it was well known in 2020 that he was pushing to leave Napoli for Juventus, with the Partenopei refusing to let him make that switch.

Gianluigi Donnarumma did let his contract with Milan run down and it was widely reported that Juventus decided against signing him, so he went to PSG instead.

As for others, Juventus had been tracking Haaland since at least 2018 when he was at Molde, but at the time they backed out because he would’ve only joined the Under-23 squad.

Juventus executives could face up to 12 years in jail if prosecutors prove they falsified their accounts in any upcoming trial.

Only four Serie A clubs made profit over 10 years

An analysis of the balance sheets presented by Serie A clubs found only Atalanta, Sassuolo, Napoli and Crotone made a profit over the last decade.

Of the sides in the top flight during the 2020-21 campaign, just four had made more than they lost over the last 10 years.

Napoli are by far the most virtuous, earning €132.2m since 2010, running at a loss only in the financial years ending 2015, 2016 and 2018.

An analysis of the balance sheets presented by Serie A clubs found only Atalanta, Sassuolo, Napoli and Crotone made a profit over the last decade.

Of the sides in the top flight during the 2020-21 campaign, just four had made more than they lost over the last 10 years.

Napoli are by far the most virtuous, earning €132.2m since 2010, running at a loss only in the financial years ending 2015, 2016 and 2018.

However, that is also because the club went bankrupt in 2004 and had to start again with new President Aurelio De Laurentiis, earning promotion back into Serie A in 2007.

The other club raking in the cash is Atalanta, who over a decade amassed €58.1m in profits.

That has been largely due to the last four years, when their profits jumped from €0.2m to €26.7m, then €24.4m for two years running.

Crotone generated €3.5m in profit, but again, that’s because they were largely in the lower leagues during that period.

Sassuolo ran at a profit of €1.6m over the decade, as after five years of consistent gains, they ran at a loss over the last two seasons.

Milan have been run into the ground over the last 10 years, moving from Silvio Berlusconi to Yonghong Li and repossessed by the Elliott hedge fund.

Over 10 years, the Rossoneri ran at an astonishing loss of €914.5m.

That’s almost double the next club down, Roma, who lost €527.2m, followed by Inter on €470.3m and Juventus on €281.5m.

Juventus reportedly want to sign Atalanta wing-back Joakim Maehle, but first need to raise money for transfers which could come via the sale of Tottenham target Weston McKennie (TuttoSport).

The report claims that Juventus need to sell before they can buy in the January transfer window, with USA international McKennie mentioned as a prime candidate for the chopping block.

TuttoSport actually claim that Borussia Dortmund are also in the race for the Juventus midfielder, but it is Tottenham who are most keen on the player heading into the winter window.

Fabio Paratici was the man who brought McKennie from Schalke to Juve in the first place back in 2020 and it appears the Tottenham Managing Director of Football wants to sign him yet again.

Spurs certainly have a good track record with signing out-of-favour Juventus players previously signed by Paratici, with Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur currently setting the Premier League alight.

Weston McKennie and Ruslan Malinovskyi would be my two picks as Tottenham’s most likely signings in January, although it is likely only one of them will come in, perhaps alongside a right-wing-back and/or a central defender.

Tacno, ali osim one epizode u Barceloni (vjerovatno najjacoj ikada), sve ostalo je kiksao rezultatski.

Salim se, nakon ovih tvitova o alegriju ja sam ss pomirio da smo s njim jos 5 godina, i to je to. Sad je vjerovatno jedini cilj ne ispasti iz lige i nema vise imperativa koji ce njega natjerati na bilo sta. Treba se navici kao i na ove ublehe iz sda,hdz,snsd i to je to.
