TOP 10 U22 BOSNIAN BASKETBALL PROSPECTS!

Players like Jusuf Nurkic get left off the list since he is already drafted and in the NBA. I included players from Bosnia who have chosen to represent other nations. The most stunning fall is Nedim Buza who still has tremendous talent but has yet to put it all together on the court in games. His flaws are as obvious as his talents and he could move back into the top 5 easily with a breakout season. Bosnia has so much young talent there is quality players that could be exceptional that only made the honorable mention list. Players like Edin Atic and Dejan Todorovic are both seen as potential NBA players in the future, yet failed to crack the top 10.

1. DRAGAN BENDER: He was brilliant for the Croatian U18 team this summer. He showed his immense athleticism, skills, length and basketball IQ. He did everything for his team and outplayed his more highly regarded teammate Lovro Mazalin. It is always hard to predict the future for such young players but even if he doesnt ever reach his immense potential he will be a very good European player for a very long time. He is the rare kind of player that can elevate his team and teammates through his play. He averaged 14.4ppg 10.4rbpg 4.9rbpg 1.1stls and 2.2blks.

2. MILOS GLISIC: He was injured and wasnt able to represent Serbia this summer but still is near the top of the list when it comes to talented young players from Bosnia. His basketball IQ shooting and ball handling are elite even if his athleticism is not. He may not ever reach the NBA level but he is a near guaranteed high level European level player for a very long time.

3. DZENAN MUSA: His play for Bosnia and the U16 team was his breakout where he was able to show his skills to the world. He has played at a very high level in BiH and plays in the U18 league even though he is only 15 years old. He is long 202cm athletic and has a great combo of shooting skills, ball handling skills and rebounding skills. He should develop into a good defender as he adds weight and grows. Musa averaged 23ppg 6.3rbpg 3.3aspg 1.8stls and .9blks for BiH this summer.

4. AMAR GEGIC: Another brilliant young player for BiH he has a very high basketball IQ and skill set and is athletic and smart. He played very well for the BiH U16 team even if he didnt shoot the ball well. He should develop into the starting PG for the BiH National team in the next 4-5 years. He has caught the attention of scouts around the world and could develop into an NBA player if he is able to improve his shooting. He averaged 11.5ppg 6.3rbpg 3.6aspg 2.4stls and 1blk per game. He made it to the Jordan Brand Classics game in the US and impressed.

5. NJEGOS SIKIRAS: He flashed his immense skills for BiH in the first two U16 team games until he suffered from injuries and struggled after that point. He shows a high level of skill is quick off his feet and plays with NBA bounce. He is a very good athlete who has well rounded skill set and just needs playing time and to add strength to reach his full potential.

6. SAMIR SEHIC: He lacks elite athleticism but that has never held Samir back. He routinely outplays more athletic American players and has elite fundamentals and skills. He is a very good shooter, rebounder and an underrated passer who has a very high basketball IQ. He has been compared to Kevin Love and has some of the same skills that have made Love an NBA all-star.

7. EMIR SULEJMANOVIC: Emir played in D2 Spain and held his own last season. He displayed his elite rebounding skills and flashed his athleticism and shooting but was inconsistent with both. He should take a big step forward this season as he struggled with some injuries at the beginning of last summer and season that slowed him at the beginning.

8. ADIN VRABAC: He is still very raw but you cant teach 202cm in a perimeter player. He really looks like he could develop into an elite defender and a very solid player in time. It looks like it wont be a fast process for him but he has the looks of someone who could blossom in another 4-5 years and become a lock down player with a good handle and shot. He has struggled with his shooting but displays good form so that should come around in time.

9. NEDIM DEDOVIC: He displayed his elite shooting and length for the U18 team. He still struggles with athleticism and doesnt appear to have the dominating killer instinct most elite young shooters have. This may blossom with time and he could become an elite level player with enough playing time.

10. BORISA SIMANIC: He was brilliant for Serbia in the U16 championships. He is long, athletic and very highly skilled. He was a teammate of Njegos Sikiras in Eastern Bosnia and formed quite a potent duo. Simanic has an amazing skill set and finally started to display it internationally this summer. He should continue to grow and his upside is near unlimited. He averaged 10.2ppg 4.3rbpg 1aspg .9stls 1.3blks and shot 62.5% from two and 44.8% from three in only 20mpg.

Jer ako nije sve gotovo, srbijanci ga nece pustit tako lahko, jer je ovaj najavio velike stvari i minutazu u novoj sezoni.
