Maverick Vinales said he had "no feeling" from the front end of his Yamaha MotoGP bike during the Spanish Grand Prix as he struggled to get the hard tyre working.

"In the morning I feel really good, everyone could see my laptimes were really constant, good on the line, good on the braking point.

"This afternoon was totally different and a disaster on the braking points.

"I was braking 30 metres earlier than this morning. You can understand."

"[It was a] very difficult weekend and a very difficult race for us," said Rossi.

"We expected to be stronger, more competitive, especially looking at the results of previous years at Jerez.

"We struggled with the speed in acceleration. It was the main problem for all the weekend.

"And at the end in the last six seven laps, especially on the left [corners], I started to have a very high vibration and I had to slow down three second per lap.

"I was lucky to arrive at the end."

According to RiminiToday the popular 35-year-old American, currently competing in his second season of World Superbike with Ten Kate Honda, was struck by a car while training on his bicycle.
