Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed the signing of Gervinho from Lille.

The Ivorian forward has been locked in talks with the Gunners over the past week after the two clubs agreed a deal earlier in the month.

Now he has finalised his move from the French champions, according to Wenger, who revealed the news as Arsenal set down in Malaysia ahead of their Asian tour.

Gervinho did not travel with Arsenal as part of their initial group and it remains to be seen whether he will link up with the squad.

Gervinho is Arsenal's second signing of the summer following on from the capture of youngster Carl Jenkinson.

Da,da ali ne može još potpisat zbog te vize, nije još službeno ni predstavljen, a on je u Londonu već nekih 7 dana.

Gervinho's £11m move from Lille to Arsenal will be delayed by at least another week due to visa problems, so the forward will miss the club's seven-day pre-season tour of the Far East.

The Ivory Coast international completed a medical at the Emirates on Wednesday but ran into unexpected problems as his paperwork was not in order.

It meant Gervinho had to go back to France and will not be able to return to England until a visa has been approved which is expected to take at least another seven days.

While Arsenal believe it will not put the 24-year-old's move under threat, it still comes as a setback to Arsène Wenger as the manager was hoping the week-long tour would help the player settle in with the squad.

a jbt koliko igraca se dovodi u vezu sa Arsenalom, a tesko da ista bude od ovoga (Cahil, Downing, Mata, Granero, Olson, Mertesacker, pa i ovo oko Gervinha se oduzilo.)

Veoma je tesko reci u ovom trenutku da li ce Fabregas i nasri ostati u Arsenalu. Ja bih volio da tako bude, ali sa ovim Seicima sve je moguce. City nudi velike pare za Nasrija, a Barca za Fabregasa. Da li ce Wenger pristati na prodaju svojih dragulja, ostaje da se vidi.
