Former Arsenal legend Paul Merson has claimed that Liverpool ‘wiped the floor’ with his former club during Tuesday night’s amazing 4-4 draw at Anfield. The 41-year-old, who has since turned to television punditry since his retirement from football in 2006 told skysports.com ahead of the Gunners weekend fixture with Middlesbrough that Arsene Wenger’s men were fortunate to escape with a point.

“Arsenal weren't at full strength on Tuesday and managed four goals against Liverpool, but they were very, very lucky in that game,” Merson emphasized.

“They had four shots on target and Liverpool wiped the floor with them in the second half.

“Arsenal's defending was shocking and if anybody tells me they weren't lucky then I don't know what game they were watching.

Liverpool defender Jack Hobbs has left the club and joined Leicester City after signing a four-year contract with the Foxes.

The 20-year-old defender has spent this season on loan at the club and helped them win promotion to the Championship.

Hobbs will leave the Merseyside club for an undisclosed fee.

“This is a massive club and I believe we can go all the way to the Premier League. That’s one of the reasons why I have committed to signing a four-year deal.

“I couldn’t be happier here. Leicester have shown great faith in me and instilled me with great confidence. I really am over the moon.”

Liverpool defender Jack Hobbs has left the club and joined Leicester City after signing a four-year contract with the Foxes.

The 20-year-old defender has spent this season on loan at the club and helped them win promotion to the Championship.

Hobbs will leave the Merseyside club for an undisclosed fee.

“This is a massive club and I believe we can go all the way to the Premier League. That’s one of the reasons why I have committed to signing a four-year deal.

“I couldn’t be happier here. Leicester have shown great faith in me and instilled me with great confidence. I really am over the moon.”

meni je tevez odlican igrac jer volim bas onakav tip igraca koji se bori gine na terenu a on plus jos zna i sve sa loptom i bilo bi sjajno da smo ga uspijeli dovesti prije nego je dosao u manchester a ovako i ne znam bas... samo bila mi je zelja da vidim njega i mascha zajedno u Liverpoolu.
Sjecam se Incea koji je igrao za LFC a ranje za Scum ali to nije bio direktan transfer nego je dosao iz Intera. Ne sjecam se da je jos bilo nekih igraca koji su nosili oba dresa...
Stvarno ne znam sta da mislim o ovom mogucem transferu ali to su svakako jos samo nagađanja...

sjetite se kad je trebao doci henize ali ga je scum prodao realu samo da ne ode u liverpool,ne bi me cudilo da i sada tako bude,tevey jest kvalitetan,ali znamo kakvo je rivalstvo izmedju scuma i liverpoola ,ne znam koliko bi to dobra opcija bila

ma kakav tevez ljudi sta vam je??? pa vec imamo jednog pittbulla, kuyta, cuj tevez grije klupu u scumu i sad za nas da igra, hahah smijesno (nije da omalovazavam united) ali ako grije tamo klupu nema sta traziti u klubu koji se takodjer bori za titulu

e Bgm dodje li kaka u man utd nema titule naredne 3 godine...mada nebi volio da mi najdrazi igrac predje u najmrzi klub...cuj on da igra lopte sa onom pascadijom (rooney,scholes i slicni)..
