U njegovo vrijeme i kada su igrali Poljaci, Razov i ostali i dok se igralo na starom Soldier stadionu, "Cikago Vatra" je stvarno bila ekipa vrijedna gledanja i navijanja. Počeo sam malo pratiti MLS u zadnje vrijeme, ali i dalje nisam baš najbolje shvatio format takmičenja.
Dakle, 20 ekipa, dvije konferencije, 34 ligaške utakmice, play off u četiri faze, MLS Cup.
Sad me zanima, kako su došli do ovog broja od 34 ligaške utakmice ?

34 tekme je nekako optimalan broj za regularnu sezonu u MLS koja traje 8 mjeseci/34 sedmice. Bice lijepo kada bude 24 tima, po 12 u konferenciji - 11x2 u svojoj konf. + 12x1 u suprotnoj konf. = 34 tekme.

Igra li se to nekim rasporedom ili random ?
I sa kojim klubovima se igra tih šest zadnjih utakmica iz konfederacije, sa prvih šest ili sa klubovima iz svoje divizije (kao u NBA) ?

Tražio sam po netu, stvarno ima dosta toga o MLS-u, ali malo ili nimalo o formatu lige. Ili ja možda nisam vidio.
