+1Carlo je napisao/la:Fakat trebamo zahvaliti Woodyju na ovoj situaciji. Jesmo ga kritikovali, ali čovjek je s small-ballom odličan. On je zaslužan za igre Smitha, definitivno. Ne samo Smitha nego cijelog tima, ali Smith je postao totalno drugačiji i bolji igrač od kako je Woody došao.
Odbrana je bila loša sredinom sezone, ali sada se popravila i to znatno. Svaka čast majstore, svaka čast Woody! GONYGO!

I blasted him in recent past but you really can't argue with the results. Had anybody said beforehand how many injuries this team would have to endure it's amazing what kind of results he has managed to achieve with this team. Some positive things that got hotly debated but Woodson seemingly was right about:
1.Sticking with J.R. Smith---I don't think I need to elaborate on this one at all. I personally never debated this one as I was a J.R. fan from the get go but many disliked the amount of opportunities Woodson gave to Smith but Smith seems to really have turned a corner. He has really played on all-star type level on a lot of occassions this season.
2.Sticking with Shumpert in the starting line-up. I personally wanted Smith in there but Woodson stuck with Iman and Iman really responded in the last 20 games or so. His percentages went up and his defense improved a lot.
3.Keeping Copeland a part of the rotation. Copeland looked like a worse defender than David Lee or Eddy Curry early on but Woodson has really improved his defense so that he isn't a complete liability anymore while being a nice offensive spark.
4.Prigioni to the starting line-up: I don't think any fan would have come up with that one but Prigioni has literally been a pain the neck for a lot of opposing guards. You can literally see them getting annoyed with Prigs early on.....he is really a disruptive force in his own way and putting him in the line-up has completely erased those sloppy starts.
To me there is only one thing standing between this team and the ECF and that's injuries. If we get Tyson/Kmart back we'll be in the ECF and if STAT can make a 20 minute impact off the bench we'll have a slight chance of upsetting Miami I believe. Anyways....major props to coach Woodson. The results are absolutely fantastic and this season has made me proud again of this team!Thank you Mike Woodson(and now please rest everybody).
