BREAKING NEWS: Allegri Out; Legends Maldini & Seedorf In
Let the revolution begin!
Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is on the verge of leaving the club, after agreeing a deal with Serie A side Roma.
Gazzetta dello Sport has stepped up to say that the former Cagliari boss has signed a three-year contract with Roma and will be paid €2.5 million per each season.
It is believed that the tactician was told that he had been sacked during a meeting with Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani this morning. “I’ve got nothing to say,” he told journalists. Allegri and Galliani has another meeting last night at the Giannino restaurant, but this one is believed to have been the farewell party.
With Allegri’s imminent departure, former midfielder Clarence Seedorf has emerged as favorite for the job. While club’s icon Paolo Maldini is in line to replace assistant Mauro Tassotti, who is likely to follow Allegri’s footsteps and join Roma.
GdS reports that Deborah Martin, the head staff of Seedorf’s image group, is wining for a green light to take a plane to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is suggested the Dutch legend will be brought back to the Rossoneri in the summer to take charge, with a three-year deal waiting for him.
Allegri, who has often been criticizing Mario Balotelli for his attitude according to reports, was assigned as a Milan coach in 2010 and has managed to win the Scudetto once and the Supercoppa Italiana trophy, as well as the Serie A Coach of the Year honour.
huh volio bi vidjeti ove dvije legende da vode Milan. ali isto tako ne znam koliko bi to bio pametan potez.
There is a good player, and a great star, and after a legend. But above all these comes Paolo Maldini.
