J3biga prosle godine nas pobjedise pa valjda sad misli da moze prdoklacit koliko mu volja.

Gareth Bale's signing has entered a dangerous and decisive stage. The player has decided to take a risk and lay all of his cards on the table in a bid to force Tottenham president Daniel Levy to live up to his word. The promise was that if the team did not qualify for the Champions League and received a significant offer, he would let him leave.

Bale's absence on the trip to play against Monaco has increased tensions even further. Bale once again claimed to be suffering from muscle problems and told manager Villas-Boas that he was not in good enough shape to make the line-up. His teammates came to bid farewell to the Welshman and some of them even asked him to autograph their shirts, according to reports by 'The Sun'.

Bale has not ruled out making his discontent public if Tottenham continues to dig its heels in. The player may be considering making a statement to explain his reasons for not playing in the latest games during the pre-season, as well as his change of attitude – now serious and distant with the fans.

The English club is going through an even worse situation to the one it experienced last summer with Modric, and we have now seen the harsher side of the Tottenham owners. They have threatened Bale with forcing him to stay on next season even if he spends the entire year on the bench.

It's no bluff. Gareth Bale has put all his chips on the table and has played his card. The Welshman is still banking on playing for Real Madrid next season. His latest move has been not to travel to Monaco with the rest of Villas-Boas' squad to play a friendly in the Principality.

Bale is training alone and not taking part in friendlies. His exit is seen as a foregone conclusion in London. The player has no intention of putting on a Tottenham shirt again and wants to join Real Madrid as soon as possible.

Nothing has changed regarding the negotiations however. Real Madrid has not budged from its initial offer of €98.5 million and has on no account offered €120 million for the Welshman. The player most likely to swap shirts with Bale is Coentrao. The Portuguese player didn't make the trip to Phoenix to play in the friendly against LA Galaxy and stayed put in UCLA. The official version was that he was suffering from a muscle injury, but this is almost as coincidental as the injury Gareth Bale suffered in Hong Kong. All of this only serves to fuel the rumours that Coentrao will be soon joining fellow countryman Villas-Boas.

The writing is on the wall for Fabio Coentrao's Real Madrid career. And if it were up to him, he would pack his bags as early as tomorrow before setting off for London to play for Tottenham.

The Portuguese full-back has made up his mind to leave the Santiago Bernabéu and is attracted by the possibility of playing under his compatriot, André Villas-Boas, at Spurs.
This interest is mutual. The former Porto boss is a big fan of Coentrao and is urging Daniel Levy to pull out his chequebook again in order to sign him. It is worth noting that any move for the defender would be completed after Gareth Bale's switch in the other direction has gone through; in other words, the two transactions will not be part of the same deal.

Real rates Coentrao at around €25 million, a price tag that has put off other suitors, including Chelsea, but not Tottenham, which would also be perfectly capable of matching the salary the defender pockets in Madrid.

Coentrao wants to play for AVB and Villas-Boas wants to sign Coentrao. All things considered, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out where the Portuguese full-back is likely to ply his trade next season.
