After the passing of Tito Vilanova Inter joined the rest of the world of football in offering their condolences to the family of the former FC Barcelona coach, who actually spent a week coaching Inter’s youth team in 2003:
“President Erick Thohir, honorary president Massimo Moratti, coach Walter Mazzarri and his staff, captain Javier Zanetti and the entire Nerazzurri team would like to offer their condolences to the family of Tito Vilanova and FC Barcelona after the passing of the great person and sportsman who left us today at the age of 45.”
Pocivaj u miru dobri covjece

GERMAN CLUB PAYS RESPECTS TO EX-BARÇA COACH
Bayern to hold minute's silence for Tito
Bayern Munich, who are currently coached by Pep Guardiola, issued a statement on their website today expressing their condolences following the untimely death of Tito Vilanova. Written in German and Catalan, the statement is signed by Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and pays respects to the former Barcelona manager, who passed away yesterday from parotid gland cancer.
"It was with dismay and deep sadness that Bayern Munich heard the news of Tito Vilanova's death. The former Barcelona manager visited us with his team last season and we got to know and appreciate him as a great coach and a wonderful person", Rummenigge notes.
The Bayern supremo also remarks on the bond between Vilanova and Guardiola and his staff, "which was much more than a merely professional relationship".
"Bayern Munich will pay tribute to a wonderful person and friend during today's Bundesliga match by holding a minute's silence and wearing black armbands", the statement concludes.
