Montenegro starlet Vasilije Adzic was among the Juventus players undergoing medical tests at J Medical this morning.
Adzic, a new Juventus signing, arrived at the J Medical on Tuesday morning to undergo medical tests with the Serie A giants.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus had reached an agreement to sign the promising attacking midfielder from Buducnost Podgorica for €2m plus add-ons during the January transfer window.
Adzic arrived at the J Medical only a few minutes before French midfielder Khephren Thuram, who landed at Turin’s Caselle Airport on Tuesday morning.
Adzic will train with Juventus’ first team this summer but is expected to be available for the NextGen squad in the 2024-25 campaign.
Juventus could reportedly struggle in their attempts to put the signature of Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners on paper.
Long before the summer transfer session started, the Old Lady had identified the Dutchman as their primary target to enhance the quality of the squad.
The 26-year-old is coming off a sensational campaign in Bergamo. However, his brilliant displays hardly played in Juve’s favor, as La Dea’s asking price kept rising with every new exploit, till it reached 60 million euros.
For their part, the Bianconeri have already acquired the services of Douglas Luiz and Khephren Thuram in the middle of the park.
Nevertheless, Juventus still consider Thuram as the cherry on top of a new-look midfield department.
But according to Il Corriere dello Sport journalist Filippo Bonsignore, the deal is getting increasingly complicated, especially with Atalanta refusing to drop their price.
The Turin-based giants started with an opening bid worth 40 million, and could raise their offer to 45M. But the gap remains significant. They also tried to offer the services of Matias Soulé and Dean Huijsen but to no avail
The Orobici have already brought in Nicolo Zaniolo as a potential replacement and could be searching for a midfielder with similar characteristics to Koopmeiners. Yet, they don’t intend to offer any discounts on the Netherlands international this summer.
Hence, Juventus will have to remain patient and raise funds by offloading some of their players before retuning with a bid closer to Atalanta’s request, as it appears to be the only way to put the deal over the line.
The Bianconeri already have an agreement with Koopmeiners over personal terms. He would sign a five-year contract that would see him earn 4.5 million euros per season.

Juventus and Fenerbahce could reportedly end up swapping the services of two players this summer, explains Calciomercato.
The Turkish giants have recently appointed Jose Mourinho as their new head coach, and the latter could be looking to lure some Serie A stars towards the eastern side of Istanbul this summer.
In recent weeks, Fenerbahce have been linked with a move for Weston McKennie who now finds himself surplus to requirements at Juventus.
The USMNT is coming off his most impressive campaign since joining the Italian giants in 2020. However, Thiago Motta doesn’t intend to rely on his services.
On the other hand, Juventus are reportedly interested in the services of Ferdi Kadioglu. Tuttosport (via IlBianconero) is also reporting this story.
The 24-year-old was born in the Netherlands and started a career at NEC Nijmegen before making the move to Fenerbahce in 2018.
The fullback has now cemented himself as a regular starter for both his club and the Turkish national team.
Kadioglu often plays at left-back, but as a right-footed player, he can comfortably slot in on the opposing flank.
Therefore, he would be an interesting addition to Motta’s fullback department which currently lacks depth.
Moreover, Juventus would be able to sign the Turkiye star without utilizing a non-EU spot thanks to his Dutch passport.
The left-back’s contract with the Turkish side is valid until June 2026. He has thus far played 150 matches for the club, scoring 16 goals in the process.

Have Paris Saint-Germain accepted defeat in their pursuit of Lille OSC’s Leny Yoro (18). It would perhaps seem so. According to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, PSG are now focusing their efforts on Juventus centre-back Dean Huijsen (19).
Yoro has been Les Parisiens’ priority target to reinforce their defence. The Ligue 1 champions made their approach in January but to no avail. LOSC were desperate to retain the centre-back as they chased after UEFA Champions League football for next season and so a departure was categorically ruled out, much to the frustration of PSG, who knew they would face increased competition come the summer.
And so it has proved. Real Madrid are advancing in talks to sign the young French centre-back and so a move to the Parc des Princes is looking increasingly unlikely. Instead, it seems that PSG’s focus is now on Huijsen. The young Spanish centre-back, who enjoyed a strong six-month loan spell at AS Roma last season, has already agreed to join Les Parisiens, as per Hawkins. PSG and Juventus remain in talks in order to find an agreement over the centre-back’s transfer.

Torino, 9 July 2024 – Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with ACF Fiorentina for the definitive disposal of the registration rights of the player Moise Bioty Kean has been reached for a consideration of € 13 million, payable in four financial years, in addition to variable bonuses up to a maximum of € 5 million.
This transaction generates a positive economic impact on the current financial year equal to € 2.3 million, net of auxiliary expenses.
Leicester City have reportedly entered the fray for young Juventus winger Matias Soulé who could be on his way out of the club.
Nevertheless, Di Marzio reveals that Leicester’s opening offer of 25 million euros has fallen short of Juve’s asking price. The Bianconeri are reportedly seeking a figure close to 40 million.
