Remy has meeting with Arsenal to 'confirm' details
[football] direct news understands that French striker Loic Remy has held a final meeting with Arsenal to settle on the final details that will force a summer move.
The French striker has been in superb form this season for Newcastle United, scoring 13 goals in 25 Premier League games.
And, it is those types of performances that have seen the 27-year-old gain interest from a number of clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
Remy, who is on loan at Newcastle from Queens Park Rangers does not want to return to his parent club this summer and has instructed his agents to find a suitable club.
And, [FDN] understand that a second meeting with Arsenal has seen both parties put the final details down on paper to complete a summer move.
A first meeting in March, reported by us, saw Remy and his advisors listen to Arsenal about their future plans and ambitions for next season and it is now understood that both sides are keen to seal the deal.
Remy is set to represent France at the Brazil World Cup this summer and it is understood that the Gunners want to complete the deal before the tournament begins.
