Sve u svemu, danas smo gledali odličan tenis i ne razumijem zašto neki potenciraju da su Federer ili Simon igrali loš tenis. Definitivno van pameti. Konstantno smo gledali stabilne razmjene s osnovne linije, što je zadnje dvije godine kod Federera bila rijetkost (od Gillesa svakako očekujemo takav tenis, obzirom da nije u stanju materijalizovati svoj ofanzivni potencijal usljed mentalnih bugova), zatim za moj ukus zadovoljavajuću dozu agresivnosti i borbu za svaki poen. Dosta lijepih udaraca na mreži, što RF-ovih voleja što Simonovih passing shotova, kao i razornih udaraca s osnovne linije. Obojica su igrala u žestokom tempu od početka do kraja, a tome najbolje svjedoče preokreti u setovima i triler završnice u kojima je Švicarac izlazio kao pobjednik.

Moram naglasiti da me posebno obradovao predzadnji poen u meču, tj. onaj pakleni inside-out FH od strane Federera koji mu je donio meč loptu i kasnije pobjedu. To je nešto što mi je zaista nedostajalo u njegovoj igri.

The first conversation was recorded on July 2007 and it`s between Bracciali and Manlio Bruni, an accountant already involved in the Soccer betting scandal that was the main core of the investigation. They discuss Bracciali`s upcoming match against American Scoville Jenkins in Newport.

Bruni: How are you?

Bracciali: Very well; I haven`t practiced much, but my opponent is useless.

Bruni: Well that`s better, can we talk about this game? For me it depends on how it develops, it is crucial that you win the first set and possibly get a break in the second. Is that possible? Because in that case I can give you much more; Goret (according to Eurosport, Roberto Goretti, a former soccer player now a member of Perugia Calcio soccer team`s board) guarantees for everybody.

Bracciali: I know. But I can not do it against this guy because there`s a bad feeling in the air; do you do it on Bet-fair?

Bruni: Can we make some numbers? To be safe I only need the first set.

Bracciali: If I knew him I could do it, but in this case I can not.

Bruni: Tell me about numbers if you can.

Bracciali: Usually they offer us 50, then it depends. Anyway tomorrow I prefer to play it; maybe next time we can talk about it.

Bruni: Look, I could do 50 for tomorrow as a trial, but it is crucial that you win the first set. If not, another time is fine if I know it in advance and we can give more.

Goretti: On October 7 Braccio (Bracciali) plays in the Italian league and will try to buy Bolelli. His nickname on skype is simobole or bolesimo. When Braccio comes back from Rennes I would like to get them together.

Bruni: Yes, good, make them understand that, paradoxically, now would be the best time.

In October of the same year, Bruni and Goretti discuss the possibility of Bracciali convincing Simone Bolelli and Andreas Seppi to 'fix' matches.

Bruni: Did you talk to him?

Goretti: He left today for Parma; he`s going to play there in the Italian league tomorrow.

Bruni: And on Monday he goes to France? Will he play with Bolelli?

Goretti: On Monday he goes to Rennes. He still does not know who his partners will be, but today he`s going to start the job.

Bruni: With Bole (Bolelli)?

Bruni: They don`t catch the real thieves.


In December, Bracciali informs Bruni about the fact that he has reached some sort of agreement with Starace.

Bracciali: Are you there? I spoke with Poto, everything`s ok.

Bruni: Brilliaaaaaaaaaant

Bracciali: He will be suspended from January 1st as well, so we have time.

Bruni: I recommend that tonight you do it right. From January 1st until when?

Bracciali: 6 weeks.

Bruni: Him and you?

Bracciali: Ready for South America.

Bruni: Gooooooooood.

Bracciali: 3 months.

Bruni: What about you?

Bracciali: Since January 1st.

Bruni: So are you getting your surgery right away?

Bracciali: In early January
